His roles go beyond designing interventions to increase a person’s quality of life and reduce challenging behaviors. Working closely with individuals, families, and care teams. Encouraging positive alternatives to challenging behaviors. Completing Behaviour Support Plans, training with parents and other stakeholders and attending panel meeting and plan reviews.

About me and Experience

After completing my degree in Psychology, I started out as a support worker before becoming a registered Behavior Support Practitioner. I have been in this role for four years and it is the most rewarding job so far. My passion consists of assisting those who require a set of skills when it comes to behaviors of concern. I have worked with clients ranging from the ages of 7-65 and with a variety of diagnoses. I hope to one day open my clinic within allied health and provide the care that everyone deserves within the disability industry.

My skills extend to the following actions:

Dumie is a God-fearing man who is our NSW, QLD, VIC, NT OT with 6 years of clinical experience working with adults and paediatric clients. He is focused on implementing evidencebased interventions within the NDIS space to achieve optimal health outcomes for participants. He takes on a goal-orientated, participantcentred approach and engages not only the participants but also their family, friends and
caregivers. Dumie’s work involved supporting people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and adults with varying conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, schizophrenia, anxiety and depression.

She has adeptly cultivated interpersonal and communication skills while fostering independence in individuals with diverse needs.

Driven by a passion for empowering lives, Tino’s experiences as a Disability Support Worker have significantly enriched her skill set, making her confident in her abilities as an Allied Health Assistant.

Furthermore, Tino’s time as an OT Assistant in Newcastle (Australia) provided her with a robust foundation for her knowledge of OT and its applications in Acute Patient Rehabilitation. In her role, she gained industry experience with:
